The latest updates in the on-going efforts to install, construct, and maintain the RLLLEE perimeter bridal trailsThe purpose of this website page is to provide information concerning the status of RLLLEE's perimeter trail system. A committee was formed to investigate the trail system's installation, construction, repair and on-going maintenance. Upon completion of their investigation, the Committee will report it's findings and recommendations for implementation, if any, to the ACC.Contact: Leonard Sutherland (466-0594, ls@mfpaving.com)December 2015 Update:. The committee held a number of meetings during 2013 and 2014, but was unable to come up with any consensus recommendations. Summary findings of the committee can be viewed. There are several problem areas but the crux of the issue is that the Developer never completed the perimeter trail system. PATCH (Perimeter Area Team of Christian Homeschoolers) is a family-integrated fellowship and support group organized to strengthen and encourage Christian home educators in the Atlanta Perimeter Area. This includes Dekalb, North Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Forsyth Counties.
Lot 49 - Phase 1, Lot 12 - Phase 2, Lots 12 & 14, Phase 2, Lot 41 - Phase 1, Lot 12 - Phase 1 and Lot 14 - Phase 2. Not on Perimeter e-Trail Legends Map: Lot #'s 39, 40 & 42 - Phase 1. Issue #10: Lot 49, Phase 1Easement Issue: Entry Monument.
(There is also access onto RLLL as there is no fencing along S.W. Portion of property).Possible Options to Solve: Ask property owners for easement around monuments or install gates and fencing. Grade trail to fill minor ravine. (Install fencing along S.W. Portion of property). Issue # 11: Lot 12, Phase 2Easement Issue: Steep Hill and RavinePossible Options to Solve: Equestrian trail not passable. Fence and post signs indicating not passable.
Issue # 15: Lot 14, Phase 2Easement Issue: No defined easementPossible Options to Solve: Ask property owners for easement. Grade side slope. Issue #16: Lot 41, Phase 1Easement issue: Deep RavinePossible Options to Solve: Property owners have installed fencing at an angle to allow access around ravine. However, an easement from Lot 41 and 40, Phase 1 would be needed. Or install signs indicating not passable. Issue #18: Lot 12, Phase 1Easement Issue: GatedPossible Options to Solve: Not an easement issue. Access is legal.
Gate is for vineyard and operates well with no locks.Issues not on Perimeter e-Trail Legends Map:. Lot# 39, Phase 1: Trim trees at S.W.
Hill may be a little steep for some equestrian riders. Lot #40, Phase 1: Trim large oak tree at N.W. Corner. Lot# 42, Phase 1: No issue with creek wash area.
There are intentionally installed fence panels blocking equestrian trail. There are several gates from outside properties allowing access to RLLL, along with access from ajacent road. Possible Options to Solve: Property owners remove lot #42 fence panels. Ask outside property owners to remove gates, or fence in front of them.
